We purchased Bamboo Solutions in 2016, and immediately required a new website. The objective was to support new branding and to launch our Office 365 products.
Initially we didn’t pay much attention to the SEO side. We had a high ad spend, and thought we had a strong enough brand. About 6 months after launch of the new website, we found we’d had a 40% drop-off in leads. We had to take a serious look at what we were doing with SEO.
Over that six months, we’d dropped from page 1 to page 10 in organic search results. When we looked at some of our keywords, we found that we were no longer ranking at all. No wonder leads had dried up! We had analytics on the site, but paid little attention to them. We were losing in organic search and we didn’t know why.
Once we realized the gravity of the situation, we engaged Stage2 Marketing. The objective of the engagement was to evaluate our current situation, and to develop a strategy to get back on page 1 for all our keywords.
